About me
Elizabeth Suter
Every child deserves to feel confident, capable, and understood. Every parent deserves to feel supported.
I am a qualified teacher, learning coach, and school leader with over 30 years of experience in education. For more than three decades, I have helped children, adolescents, parents, teachers, and school leaders overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.
As a native English speaker, I have lived and worked in Switzerland for over 30 years. I am also the mother of two bilingual children who completed their education within the Swiss school system. This gives me a unique perspective on education—not only as an educator, but also as a parent.
Having taught across kindergarten, primary, and secondary levels and held leadership positions in bilingual and international schools, I understand education from every angle. As a learning coach, I support children who are struggling academically, socially, or emotionally. My areas of expertise include ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, gifted education, and learning and academic assessment.
Parents often come to me feeling worried, overwhelmed, or unsure how best to help their child. Together, we develop practical strategies, rebuild confidence, and create a clear path forward. When needed, I also act as a trusted bridge between families and schools, fostering open communication and collaborative solutions that keep the child's best interests at the centre.
Alongside my work with families, I support teachers and school leaders in navigating leadership, communication, and conflict with confidence and clarity. My coaching provides a confidential, structured, and practical space for reflection, growth, and meaningful change.
At the heart of my work is the belief that lasting success begins with trust. When children, parents, and educators feel heard, understood, and supported, meaningful change becomes possible.
I work in English, German, and Swiss German, providing professional, empathetic, and practical support to families and educational professionals alike.
