About me

Elizabeth Suter

I’m an experienced educator, learning coach, and qualified school leader with over 30 years of professional experience in education. For more than three decades, I have successfully supported children, adolescents, parents, teachers, and school leaders — in the classroom, in coaching settings, and in leadership roles.

My professional background includes many years of teaching across kindergarten, primary, and lower secondary levels in Swiss bilingual and international schools, as well as in leadership positions. I also hold a degree in school leadership and management, which allows me to understand school-related challenges not only from a pedagogical perspective, but also from an organisational and systemic one.

This dual perspective — classroom and leadership —
strongly shapes my work. I understand the realities of daily teaching as well
as the demands placed on school leaders in terms of decision-making,
communication, and team development. This enables me to support children,
parents, teachers, and principals in a grounded, realistic, and respectful way.

I am trained as a primary school teacher with a strong
focus on Mathematics and English and have pursued extensive continuing education throughout my career.

My training includes, among others:

·        ADHD and attention disorders

·        Dyslexia and dyscalculia

·        Gifted and high-ability education

·        Learning and performance assessment

·        Curriculum and school development

·        Educational leadership, school management, and organisational development

·        Conflict management, difficult parent discussions, and personnel management

In my work, I combine professional expertise with
calm, clarity, and deep practical experience. I support children who feel
insecure, overwhelmed, or blocked, as well as capable and high-performing
students who want to further develop their skills and confidence.

At the same time, I work closely with teachers and school leaders who are navigating complex professional, leadership, or conflict-related
situations. My coaching provides a confidential, structured space for
reflection, clarification, and growth, always grounded in the realities of
school life.

A strong, trusting relationship is central to everything I do. Learning, development, and leadership
thrive when people feel safe, understood, and respected. I take the time to
understand each context and to develop solutions that are sustainable and
meaningful.

I work in English and German and speak Swiss German fluently.

My guiding belief is simple and grounded in experience: strong education
emerges where expertise, trust, and clear leadership come together — for the
benefit of students, families, and schools.
