Parents & Kids

When is coaching helpful?

Coaching is helpful whenever children or adolescents need support in their academic or personal lives. Common topics include learning difficulties, lack of motivation, concentration problems, test anxiety, stress, or transitions such as changing schools or family changes.

How does coaching with children and adolescents work?

A coaching session typically lasts 50 minutes and takes place directly with the child or teenager. Depending on the goals, a minimum of 3 to 10 sessions are usually recommended to achieve sustainable progress.

How are parents involved in the process?

Parents are an important part of the process. At the beginning, we clarify goals and expectations together. When helpful, parents receive feedback and practical recommendations, while respecting the child’s protected coaching space.

What is the difference between coaching and tutoring?

Tutoring focuses primarily on academic content and closing specific learning gaps.
Coaching addresses learning strategies, motivation, confidence, and emotional or mental blocks, with the aim of fostering long-term independence and resilience.

Is coaching offered in person or online?

Coaching and tutoring are available in person or online via Zoom or Teams. Together, we decide which format best supports the child or family.

How can I book an appointment?

Appointments can be requested by phone, email, or via the contact form. I usually respond within 24 hours on business days.

What is the cancellation policy?

Sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged in full.

In the event of illness, cancellations made by 10:00 am will not be charged. Cancellations after this time may be billed in full.

How are pricing and billing handled for brief consultations?

Brief consultations by phone, email, or message are charged on a time-based basis.

This policy applies to consultations outside regular sessions as well as to ongoing guidance between appointments.
